Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated:
Revoke a connection or ask Studio87 to delete stored information.
1. Request deletion
Contact the Studio87 operator: [email protected]
Use the subject Studio87 Data Deletion Request and include:
- The Facebook Page or YouTube channel name and its URL or identifier.
- The Studio87 tool or integration you used, if known.
- Whether you want all associated data deleted or have a specific request.
- A reply address, so the operator can verify and confirm your request.
Send the request from a contact associated with your publishing arrangement when possible. The operator may ask for limited information to verify that you control the relevant account or are authorized to make the request. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or other account secrets, and do not post private deletion requests in public GitHub issues.
2. Revoke platform access
You may also remove authorization directly through the platform:
- Facebook: open Business Integrations, select the relevant Studio87 integration, and remove it. If it is listed under Apps and Websites instead, remove it there.
- Google/YouTube: open Google’s connected-app security settings, select the relevant Studio87 connection, and remove its access.
Use the Facebook or Google account that granted the original authorization. Revocation prevents the tool from continuing to use that connection; it may stop pending publishing work.
3. What happens next
Studio87 verifies the request, stops using the affected connection, and deletes associated stored tokens, account and destination information, and API publishing records, including associated copies in logs and backups. The operator confirms completion by reply and explains any information that must be retained for a separate lawful purpose.
Requested deletion and revocation sent directly to Studio87 are completed as soon as possible, within 7 calendar days. For revocation through Google’s settings, associated API data is deleted as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days of revocation. Legal retention of unrelated records does not extend these API data deadlines.
Published content and original media
Deleting Studio87’s stored information does not automatically delete Facebook posts or YouTube videos. To remove published content, use the platform’s own management tools or separately arrange removal with the authorized Page or channel manager.
Original media supplied independently for a media assignment is distinct from data retrieved through an API. If your request includes those files, say so; the operator will explain any continuing assignment or legal requirement that affects their deletion.
For more information about data use and retention, read the Privacy Policy.
